The recent opening of Milk Cafe (牛奶冰室) has provided us with another twist to cheer about. Located on the ground floor of the cafe is a hearty local bakery called Mama Bakery which has garnered some serious attention from the locals.
I love the fact that they have added a modern twist to their bakery which includes Japanese mentaiko and a few more tricks here and there.
Pineapple croissant – For me, this was a love-at-first-sight 😍😍. I really like the sweet, crunchy and crumbly crust. Down side? I didn't have the chance to do a cross-section test but judging from its mouthfeel, it wasn't really "doughy" inside. Appreciate the effort though.
