I seldom walk around this quiet side of Boundary Road but here I was just killing time before meeting up with the gang. Oh and at 2:30pm, I haven't even had lunch but good thing I stumbled upon an interesting place called Fong Waa Parlour (芳華絕代).
The industrial look caught my eyes when I was just crossing the streets.
Fong Waa Parlour is actually a Thai restaurant in the afternoon and bar at night but judging by the décor, I would probably guess it's a tiny dessert shop.

Here's my lunch today, Pad Thai with grilled chicken fillet, brussels sprouts and of course, my favorite iced Thai milk tea.
The spicy kick from the Pad Thai caught me a little by surprise. The grilled chicken was particularly spicy and I thought it came with a hint of tandoori (at least it tasted like it did).
Like I said, Fong Waa Parlour is no ordinary bar restaurant and that's evident when I saw hairy crab on their dinner menu (hairy crab in a Thai restaurant!).
