Café Schinkelwache (Dresden, GERMANY) ★★★☆☆

Café Schinkelwache is situated on the “Theaterplatz” (Theatre Square) in the historic center of Dresden. Located next to the famous Semperoper (Opera house), it is touted to have the best cheesecake in all of Dresden.  The cafe opens daily till midnight making it a perfect venue for late-night snacks after catching an opera show.

And that's what we have ordered - cheesecake. It was just a little bit harder than a typical mousse cake. Very soft and light but the flavour of cheese not too compelling.

Not too heavy. Not bad for an afternoon snack.
