Yojiya Café Sagano Arashiyama よーじやカフェ 嵯峨野嵐山店 (Kyoto, JAPAN) ★★★☆☆

It was sad to see a couple locations of Yojiya Café shut down during the pandemic including our favorite one in Gion. But if there is any consolation, at least we get to check out their Sagano Arashiyama outpost (嵐山店) this afternoon before our visit to Arashiyama Bamboo Grove.

Yojiya's tea salon is always very popular for locals and tourists alike. Not surprisingly, it would take more than half an hour for a table.

Plan B? Matcha drinks in plastic drink pouches!

We can now enjoy this matcha shake on the go.

I am not so sure if I want to be the model on this one but I can't help it cuz I am super thirsty.
