Fauchon Paris @Lotte World Mall (Seoul, SOUTH KOREA) ★★★★☆

Whenever I start craving for some top-notch French pastries in Seoul, the place to look has always been Fauchon Paris. I have the fact that their branch at Lotte Department Store in Myeongdong has this nice little cafe inside but too bad it's often packed with tired shoppers resting their feet!

Fortunately for us, they have another branch at the Lotte World Mall at the Jamsil metro station with more or less the same space but with a lot fewer customers!



This branch carries virtually the same line of products from chocolate, macarons.....



.....to their signature pastries. Their Carachoc cake, one of my all-time favorites!



And who could resist their colorful éclairs!? They have a trio of them here on display - éclair rose (₩7,600), éclair hazelnut (₩8,700) and éclair mango (₩7,600).



I went with their Carremangue cake (₩7,500) this time - light vanilla cream with fresh mango and what I thought was pistachio in the middle. Very nice.
