J.Co Donuts & Coffee (Hong Kong, CHINA) ★★★☆☆

Donut lovers in Hong Kong can finally breathe a collective sigh of relief. Ever since Krispy Kreme closed all their outlets almost ten years ago, the city has been without a bona fide donut shop but starting last month, there's finally a new kid on the block. J.Co Donuts & Coffee, a lifestyle cafe specializing in donuts and coffee has opened their first shop in Wanchai.



Originated from Indonesia, J.Co opened back in 2006 and has been one of the fastest growing donut and coffee chain there with over 200 outlets.



After looking at these donuts with all the colorful toppings and quirky names like Avocado DiCaprio, Jackie Chunk and Blueberrymore (their celebrity series!) one by one, it's time to take action!



Tira Miss U - Injected with flavors of tiramisu cream and topped with tiramisu chocolate and cocoa powder, this was so irresistible.



The filling of creamy tiramisu was silky smooth but it tasted more like light mascarpone than tiramisu to me.



I decided to get a small box of three for my family to try at home.



Avocado Di Caprio - A delightful mix of avocado and chocolate crunch. Especially when avocado is so rarely seen in donut shops, this is definitely a winner.



Green Tease - Topped with creamy matcha and drizzled with white chocolate sauce, I thought this was pretty sweet and the flavors were a little too predictable.
