Chir Chir Fusion Chicken Factory (Seoul, SOUTH KOREA) ★★☆☆☆

Our first trip with the nugget turned out to be a huge success so after putting him to bed early, we decided to sneak out for a little celebration party between the two of us. That was when we started to realize that we had yet to visit a fried chicken and beer place (chimaek) on this trip. So without further delay, we walked straight to where I called the "fried chicken street" in the heart of Myeongdong and checked out the late night menu at Chir Chir Fusion Chicken Factory.



It looked a little late for oldies like us but the fact was, things were just starting to pick up at these fried chicken restaurants. 



This quiet corner looks perfect for us as we wanted to enjoy a bit more privacy.....



Yes, time for a toast with actor Song Joong-Ki's favorite mango flavored beer!

We started rolling with their shrimp basket (9,900 won) first. This had a mix of deep fried coconut crusted shrimps and homemade fries.




We didn't plan to leave unless we took down one of their signature chicken wings. The Chir soy wings (18,900 won) consisted of crispy and juicy drumsticks and wings dipped in garlic and soy sauce. Just a little spicy on the outside.



Korean fried chicken has never been my game to begin with but I do enjoy it once in a blue moon.
