There's a lot to like about this 3-story cheesecake themed dessert café starting with its vibe.
I really like the industrial vibe the moment I stepped into C27. It's almost like we are getting a private tour into a cheese factory with all kinds of cheesecakes in the making.
I couldn't help but head straight to the display counter. In case you still haven't figured out why the place was called C27, well, there's a total of 27 flavors of cheesecakes being served here; thus the name!
Out of the 27 flavors, you will see some of the all-time classics like blueberry cheesecake and ricotta New York cheesecake as well as more unique ones like Dutch apple cheesecake, carrot cheesecake and tuxedo mousse cheesecake (whatever that means!). These are all numbered from 1 to 27.
No.27, M&M cheesecake has to be the funkiest one on display.
But I am into more subtle flavors such as Earl Grey and tiramisu.
What a nice little space they've got here on the basement floor next to the display counter and cashier.
For a little more privacy, head up to the mezzanine floor. It is spacious, cozy and perfect for chilling out on a lazy afternoon.
They have got some seriously fulfilling cheesecakes. I ended up having the earl grey cheesecake (₩8,800) which was really light with rich earl grey tea flavor.
I hate those thick and rubbery cheesecakes but this one was perfect. It's soft and not cheesy at all. Outstanding job!
What an afternoon we had in Sinsa-dong! First, we tackled a menu with 46 milkshakes at Brooklyn The Burger Joint and before we could even roll our eyes, we got to pick between 27 amazing flavors of cheesecakes. Now, I think I can finally rest my stomach!
