I've already heard about this place from my research and was rather impressed with their pastries based on what I've seen from the web. But after a closer look, I was a little disappointed with what they had to offer.
New York cheesecake, mango mousse cake, chocolate cake, strawberry short cake.....is that all they've got here!?
I decided to go with their caramel cake with chocolate and Okinawan brown sugar (¥570). Both the texture and taste were somewhat disappointing. For a hotel cake shop, they've got to do better than this.
After a short tea break, we got back on the road again and our first attraction in the afternoon was one of the most amazing one on the island - Cape Manza (万座で), which was just a short stroll away.
The elevated coral cliff of Cape Manza is one of the most stunning site of the island. It's a shame that we didn't come at the right time (season) to admire this beauty at its best.
