Originated from New York, ChikaLicious made its debut in Thailand last year and quickly became the talk of town.

Behind the chic marble counters are talented dessert chefs in their usual whites working diligently with knives, bunsen burners, needles and a lot more hoping to make a lasting impression.

The 3-course set menu (฿400) is a good starting point in case you have trouble identifying what you want. An optional wine pairing is also available (฿189) upon request.

Our amuse bouche was pumpkin ice-cream with cinnamon jelly and chocolate crumble (5.5/10).

Out of the many intriguing choices for "main course", we picked their signature dish - Fromage Blanc Island "Cheese Cake". I thought for sure I was having a deconstructed cheesecake but it turned out to be just a yogurt served on a plate of ice. That was disappointing (4/10).

A simple petite fours with coconut marshmallow, caramel candy and chocolate cookie with sea salt wrapped up this underwhelming and uninspiring dessert set (4/10).

We were hoping to find a little more creativity and inspiration from the a la carte menu which was missing from the set menu.
The first a la carte item that caught my eyes was their doughnut, or as they call them the
"dough'Ssant". There are 5 sweet flavors to choose from (creme brûlée, nutella, oreo, matcha and chocolate) and even a savory version with bacon and cheese.
This is the Oreo dough'Ssant (฿90) with oreo lava coming out from the middle (5/10).

Last but not least, tiramisu-mascarpone mochi (฿60). This looks promising on paper but too bad the multi-layered flavor wasn't there under that moist and chewy mochi skin at all (4.5/10).
