Paul Bakery at Central Embassy (Bangkok, THAILAND) ★★★★☆

Central Embassy is quickly becoming my favorite shopping mall in Bangkok with all their top-class eateries. Even Paul Bakery, the French bakery chain with over 400 branches from around the world (and one of my all-time favorite) chose to open its first branch in Bangkok here.



French bread, sandwiches, salad, macarons and pastries have always been their bread and butter over its 126-year history.




Today, I decided to take on their almond cake with apricot. I really like the vanilla mousse which was silky smooth and the apricot compote provided something different in taste and texture.



Rumors has Bake House Co & Ltd, the local franchisee of Paul planning to open another dozen outlets over Bangkok. That's really great news for all Paul Bakery fans!
