Brasserie Le Marceau (Paris, FRANCE) ★★☆☆☆

We ended up getting a lot done on our first day in Paris. By the time we tried to catch our breaths, it was almost end of daylight time. Rather than having something fancy, we decided to have supper at Brasserie Le Marceau, a casual diner next to our hotel.

Pan-seared duck breast with homemade fries - The duck breast certainly wasn't very good but the fries looked as if they have just come out of the fryer.

French Onion Soup - Didn't have the intense flavors we expected from a French onion soup. Perhaps our taste buds were a little numb after our red-eye flight.

Burgundy snails with parsley butter - The only decent dish tonight.

Service wasn't very attentive but then we came in almost at closing time so I certainly wasn't expecting them to be rolling out their red carpet to greet us.
