KUMO KUMO Cheese Uniwalk 壹方城店 (Shenzhen, CHINA) ★★★☆☆

There are a number of bakery shops in Shenzhen which have really stolen the hearts of Hongkongers of late and we could now add KUMO KUMO Cheese to the list as well.

Decorated in shocking orange all over the store, KUMO KUMO has been one of the hottest bakery shops for souvenirs among us tourists. 

The most popular items at KUMO KUMO include their signature Japanese half-baked cheesecakes (半熟芝士蛋糕) and Basque cheesecakes. These come in all sorts of different flavors and colors.

During our recent visit to their Uniwalk outpost (壹方城店), we managed to find two really exciting flavors of half-baked cheesecakes which we just couldn't stop eating.

They came in really small packets (around ¥29 for a 5-piece pack). 

The first of our two personal favorites is this green grape flavor. No, it was not in light green color but despite its "ordinary" look, the fluffy half-baked cheesecake was full of refreshingly sweet flavors reminiscing of green grapes. The second one which I forgot to take pictures of was the taro flavor, which came with a bit of creamy taro in the middle.

Another attraction at KUMO KUMO was the sharp-looking shopping bag. Its bright orange tone makes it easy to be mistaken for the shopping bags from a certain luxury fashion brand. Ladies definitely digs it~ 😆😆😆
