YumMee 喫麵 (Hong Kong, CHINA) ★★★☆☆

Jelloman obviously didn't want to go home early on her birthday so after walking around K11 Musea for a few hours, she wanted yet another meal. And little nugget never says no to more food and me? Well, I know better to stand in the way.

YumMee (喫麵) is pretty much a jack-of-all-trades. The Asian inspired noodle bar offers a variety of fan favorites from Japanese ramen, Thai-style boat noodles to Chinese dan dan noodles.

With traveling pretty much non-existing these days, it was nice to sit here and let the "slide show" bring us to different places. Yeah, I miss the beach.

And a brief "tour" to "Hong Kong's backyard", Japan (to a lot of locals, it sure is!). I miss Japan.

After watching more than a few rounds of the slide shows, our noodle is finally ready. Little nugget wanted this tomato broth badly so it was an easy choice for us. This ain't bad. The broth was a little too overpowering for me so I didn't get to taste the flavors from the noodle at all but at least, little one enjoyed it, which was all that mattered.

As much as we all wanted to extend our stay at K11, it was getting a little late. So, we took off to avoid the rush hours and one more task for me to fulfill before heading home - getting Jelloman that all-important birthday cake.
