It was nice to see some familiar faces at Airside this afternoon. Following our visit to the first local branch of Nana's green tea, we stumbled upon Pinky Bakery's pop-up store. The last time I saw Pinky Bakery, they were also doing a pop-up although at a different location in Harbour City.

Their doughnuts looked all perfectly shaped!

I decided to get two of these, one for myself and one for little nugget who's participating a school activity this afternoon.
Black sesame doughnut – This is the same doughnut I enjoyed at Pinky's pop-up in Harbour City a while ago. The choux pastry looked and tasted slightly different this time around, but the runny black sesame ganache remained as decadent as ever. Pretty enjoyable!
Custard doughnut – Little nugget is a purist when it comes to doughnut so I got him this doughnut filled with custard cream. Not surprisingly, he was over the moon with this one.
In a city like Hong Kong, where bona fide doughnut shops are a rarity, I consider Pinky Bakery to be among the top ten in the business.
