McSorley's Brewhouse & Grill (Hong Kong, CHINA) ★★★☆☆

It's been 6 months since J.E.R.K. last met up back in December. Lots have creeped up since our last gathering including something called COVID-19 which have tremendously impacted our daily lives in different ways. Hanger Jack ended up missing out tonight due to family engagements so just the three of us made it to McSorley's Brewhouse & Grill. I have been to Elements way too often these days but they're offering a fabulous 30% discount on Eatigo, which we were more than happy to take.

To my surprise, the restaurant was relatively full on a Tuesday night. In fact, I found most restaurants in the mall running close to full capacity, A pretty good sign that things are finally going back to normal.

Cajun chicken wings ($148) - K is always obsessed with wings so we knew it's going to either this or Buffalo wings. I was initially a little concerned with the Cajun sauce being too strong but it turned out to be right on the money so I was able to enjoy it with the smoked BBQ dip and cucumber sticks.

My apologies for the photo though. Obviously, I got a little caught up in the conversation. Didn't realize it was a total blur. 

Chorizo and prawn linguine ($238) - Another decent dish. The linguini was nicely tossed in a spicy Marinara sauce. Yeah, I could definitely use some extra kick these days. It's been a boring last couple of days.

BBQ Baby back ribs ($298) - This was way better than the one we had at Cafe Deco a few days ago. The meat was really tender matching well with the smoked BBQ sauce. We threw around the idea of getting the Impossible Burger but I was glad we ended up choosing this over the vegan burger.

The dessert menu didn't look all that promising so we just settled the bill and rushed down to Shake Shack to get ourselves some milkshake for our sweet ending instead.
