Boulangerie Eric Kayser rue Monge (Paris, FRANCE) ★★★☆☆

This morning, we found ourselves in the middle of the Saint Germain district, one of the trendiest quarters in Paris. This chic and sophisticated neighbourhood is best known for its cafés, boutiques, book shops and art galleries. But the first interesting shop we ran into was a Eric Kayser.



I have always been a casual fan of Eric Kayser back but it's a shame that the Hong Kong branches don't have the same variety as here. 

 


Ended up picking the XXL macaron in coconut flavor (at Euro 3.8). Very nice especially with the coconut flakes in the middle.



I am drooling all over these cakes here. Let's hope that Mr. Kayser will be bringing some of these to Hong Kong soon.
