Frédéric Vaucamps refined the recipe of Merveilleux cakes with a lighter texture and greater variety of flavors. Following the success of his Merveilleux, his Aux Merveilleux de Fred shops can now be found not only in Paris and Lille, but also in UK and Belgium.



The majority of these lovely Merveilleux cakes are meringue-based and are meant to be a little flaky inside.
