Work has taken me to many different places in the past, and this week, I get to visit two destinations I rarely set foot in. Earlier this week, it was Tai Wai, unfamiliar territory for me and this afternoon, I'll be heading to another place in Shau Kei Wan.
But first, it’s time for a relaxing lunch at Café Cabin, located on Shau Kei Wan’s “eat street” — Shau Kei Wan Main Street East.
Linguine with homemade pesto, smoked salmon – The linguine was finished with a creamy, homemade pesto, nicely crowned by sheets of smoked salmon, lightly torched for an extra touch of smokiness.. Not bad.
I got to enjoy a cup of English breakfast tea before our meeting too.
I enjoy supporting these small neighborhood cafés as they always bring a unique charm and warmth to the community. It's especially rewarding to see passionate owners pouring their heart into what they do.
