I am picking up little nugget from the MTR station to get his documents for our upcoming trip to Mainland China.
A very smooth process took us a little less than 10 minutes and by the time we got back to KCC, it was still early. In order to burn some extra time off the clock before little one's class at 6, we decided to grab a quick tea together. There wasn't a whole lot of options there at KCC other than the usual fast food joints so I was more than happy to introduce OK 冰室 to my little boss.

Apart from the neon signs, it looks like that this place offers a pretty good afternoon tea menu too. I was pleased to report that the pantyhose tea was silky smooth and a nice one to kick off the meal with.
Butter toast with kaya wasn't your Malaysian style one but I thought the crispy toast worked well with the thin layer of butter and kaya jam. Not bad.
Little one had a chicken leg marinated with soy sauce and it was so meaty! The homemade fries were OK.
My little boss seemed to enjoy his afternoon tea a lot this afternoon but our time's almost up. We better start packing up and off to his tutoring class.
