We knew something was up with little one when he stopped playing with his favorite toys. Now we know why, he's having a fever and I bet he's thinking let's go home. It's been a long trip.
But we are still a long way from home. We are leaving Paris tonight but we have a flight in Dubai to catch with a 4-hour wait. 4 hours is not a short time for a sick kid who also happens to be homesick.
So, we managed to find a Fauchon Paris restaurant at Charles de Gaulle Airport Terminal 2A. This place is huge but finding a server has been an issue.
Comparing to the decadently rich chocolate I had at Ladurée 6 hours ago, this was a bit of a joke.
Chicken fillet with linguine and morel mushroom sauce – I thought little one would like to have a little bit of pasta and chicken but I guess not. This wasn't bad for food at an airport.
Vegetable quiche – The quiche was nice and warm. I desperately needed that salad that came with the quiche. It's been a while since I last saw so much green!
This is truly goodbye now, Paris! Until next time.....
