Newly admitted to the prestigious Relais Desserts Association in the summer of 2016, Chef-owner Yoshiaki Kaneko is pretty well known in the pastry making circle having trained overseas in Paris for a few years and worked at some of the top-notch kitchens like Ladurée and Alain Ducasse's.
His cake shop and tea salon is one of the busiest ones in the area, opening very early at 10AM daily (serving breakfast too) while closing late at 8PM.
New York Cheesecake (580yen) - This is chef Kaneko's modern take on the classic New York cheesecake. Very nicely done with silky smooth cream cheese on top and underneath that were orange gelée, orange zest and a little bit of sponge cake.
Too bad I can't take on any more desserts today; otherwise, I would most definitely try some of their other signature creations!
