Dessert Garden (Hong Kong, CHINA) ★★★☆☆

Tsing Yi is not exactly the place to be if you're looking for a seriously good dessert spot but if you happen to stumble upon this area in need of a sweet treat, then Dessert Garden (甜品莊) could very well be what you're looking for.



Dessert Garden is a true neighborhood dessert cafe in every way. Just look at the decor, plain, simple but inviting.



According to rumors, the owner-chef of this place used to work at a number of 5-star hotels including Mandarin Oriental and that explains his obsession of using the best ingredients available. Take his signature chocolate truffle cake as example, only the best Belgian chocolate is used in preparation of this house specialty.



As a diehard fan of milkshakes, of course I had to sample one of their many milkshakes. This vanilla milkshake was actually pretty decent but I prefer it to be a little thicker (For 10 of the best places for milkshake in Hong Kong, click here for more information.).
