After the slightly forgettable meal at the newly opened Jinjuu just a few days ago, I thought it will take a while before I decide to tackle more kimchi but evidently I am missing Korean food already.
Located on Hollywood Road right on top of La Grande Bouffe, Seoul Bros is the city's latest Korean fusion fast food joint that combines traditional Korean dishes with a modern twist.
Kimchi fries ($28) - Kimchi and fries are match made in heaven and along with some seaweed, sesame, green onion and a special cheesy mayo formed one of the more popular Korean fusion appetizers of all time. This was simple but yet very addictive. Portion was pretty generous too.
Sweet and spicy fried chicken ($48) - Their Korean fried chicken comes with 2 versions, sweet & sour and sweet & spicy. I love having spicy food so it was an easy choice for me going with the sweet & spicy version. Nice to see the battered chicken matched with some Korean glutinous rice cakes and a very tangy sweet and spicy sauce. Yum!
True to their words, the food we experienced here was all "honestly good". And the best of all, they didn't charge outrageous prices so that saved me a few bucks for tonight's dessert.
