AFURI 原宿阿夫利 (Tokyo, JAPAN) ★★★☆☆

After a small nap at the hotel, we began to venture out to the city centre, first to Hajajuku. Afuri (原宿 阿夫利) is a small ramen shop we like to visit whenever we head to Harajuku. Tucked away in the quiet side of the shopping district, it's situated near the Meiji Jingu Shrine and just a 5-minute walk from the Harajuku Station.

As always, expect a small lineup in front of the shop but the waiting time is normally short.

There is always the choice of spicy or non-spicy broth and thick/curly or thin noodles. I generally go for their thin noodles since it works better with most broth.

My favorite yuzu shio ramen with thin noodles ready and served.

While their combination of broth and noodles are not considered mind-blowing, their charcoal grilled pork (char siu) is something you should definitely try.

I am ready for some shopping with my happy stomach now!
