Boulevard Terrace @ Central Hotel Wolter (Grindelwald, SWITZERLAND) ★★☆☆☆

After missing out on the chance to check out the Swiss Alps at the Jungfrau region yesterday, we took a leisure day off in Lucerne before coming back to Grindelwald again the next day. Finally, we got ourselves a pair of train tickets and while we got another hour to burn before our train departs, we headed over to Central Hotel Wolter for lunch.



Well, it's supposed to be holiday season so we were caught a bit off guard when we saw an empty restaurant inside the hotel. Are we missing something here?



We just had enough time for something quick and I went with this grilled salmon fillet, which was a bit dry and had way too much black pepper on it.



We were under constant attack from a group of flies so we had to cut our lunch short. While the lunch itself was a bit disappointing, our Jungfrau tour was something we would be remembering for a long time.



There were many picturesque spots up on the mountains and I took the time to photograph each and every one of the valleys and peaks despite a bleeding nose.
