The Old Spaghetti Factory (Whistler, CANADA) ★★★☆☆

The Old Spaghetti Factory in Gastown was an old favorite of mine. They didn't necessarily have the best pasta in town but the quaint decor and casual family-friendly vibe have always kept me coming back for more. Would this branch in Whistler have the same magic?

Rustic never dies!!!

We didn't have a big breakfast this morning so at 2:30pm, we knew we could eat a ton!

       New England clam chowder

       Calamari Fritti

    Honey garlic wings

Bam Bam shrimp glazed in spicy Sriracha sauce

Spaghetti tossed in curry sauce - We could all use the extra heat from the curry sauce on this rather chilly afternoon. Not bad.

Spaghetti Alfredo - This came with a mix of spaghetti including one flavored with spinach. The pasta was fine but OSF's signature Alfredo sauce has taken a dive. Way too light and watery for me.

Cookie and Cream milkshake with a cherry top.....

After spending the last 12 years away from Canada, my palate has obviously changed a lot. The pasta that used to be right on the spot for me felt a little soggy this afternoon. But nevermind the food, the nostalgic trip back to Whistler and The Old Spaghetti Factory was really a nice walk down memory lane. I just wish I could do it more often.
