I saw this cha chaan teng by the name of B哥冰室 the other day when they were holding their opening ceremony in front of the shop a couple days ago. Thought I could give it a shot today. Turned out the staff weren't attentive to say the least but that has sadly become quite common in Hong Kong these days. It’s a shame how many people in the service industry seem to lack a basic understanding on how to serve.
The iced milk tea looked promising with its rich, dark brown hue but the flavor didn’t quite live up to expectations.
The pan-fried sole fillet was alright. The texture was slightly let down by its oiliness but the cream sauce was a reasonably good touch.
I was hoping to find a reason to return for a second visit, but nothing really stood out enough to warrant one.
