Many of us are still sick this weekend, so understandably, no one was in a particular celebratory mood for Mother's Day. It wasn't until the very last minute that the three of us decided to have a simple Korean lunch at Myung Ga (名家).

There seem to be an event going on today but it was too far for us to figure out what's going on.

Banchan, or small dishes to start things off before our main course arrived. It was the first time for little nugget to have these small marinated quail eggs as a banchan and he was loving it!
I only ever order one dish here, the beef short ribs braised in Korean sweet soy sauce. This was again very very tender and just enough fat there to keep me happy.
Jelloman asked if she could order the Korean seafood pancake. I said, "why not, it's Mother's Day!". She could have ordered anything on the menu. It's been a while since we last had this pancake dish and clearly, we were all craving those familiar flavors.
After lunch, we took some time to walk around Harbour City. Little nugget got his wish to check out what Toy R Us had in store for him. He ended up getting some new Blox fruits in the process.
It's been ages since the three of us had Korean food. Perhaps, we should do this a little more often. Little one even suggested that maybe we should look into going to Seoul to settle our craving for Korean food! Maybe he's got something there.
