Obviously, nobody was happier to be running around Disneyland than this little guy right here.
It was almost 3pm when we arrived at Downtown Disney so the first order of business was to find ourselves a place for a late lunch. After striking out at a number of restaurants and cafes, we finally found Splitsville Luxury Lanes, a two-story entertainment complex with bowling alleys, restaurants, bars, billiard hall and live entertainment all under the same roof.
Ahi tuna (USD $23) - Seared sushi-grade tuna and sliced avocado served over mixed greens, yellow peppers, tomatoes, carrots and cucumbers tossed in an Asian pear dressing with a small bowl of tataki sauce served on the side. I don't know whether those tuna really belongs to sushi-grade to be brutally honest but one thing I do know, serving them in thin slices like a carpaccio really didn't work for us at all.
Chicken alfredo (USD $25) -The overcooked spaghetti was tossed in a less-than-creamy alfredo sauce before they added in the blackened chicken, broccoli, red peppers, scallions and garlic bread.
We weren't expecting much from their food menu to begin with but this was even worse than our worse imagination. If these were prepared by a home cook rather than a professional kitchen, I would have been totally fine with the results but unfortunately it was not the case at all.
