We didn't do much this morning other than checking out a number of bookstores and toy stores around our service apartment. We still got Sydney Harbour Bridge, Opera House and a walk in the park (Royal Botanic Garden) in the afternoon so a quick bite would be a very good idea.
Again, we went back to the Galeries where I got my strawberry watermelon cake yesterday and that's where we spotted Yayoi, a Japanese restaurant on the second floor.
We saw a pretty long lineup yesterday and today so this place must be good, right?
They serve mostly bento boxes here for around AUD$20. Not bad considering the prime location that it's in. I had this tonkatsu (deep fried pork cutlets) with egg over rice and thought it was pretty underwhelming. The pork cutlets, in particular, were pretty dry and a bit chewy.
