M the Menagerie (Seoul, SOUTH KOREA) ★★★☆☆

M the Menagerie is a chain of luxurious French bakery-cafés in Seoul that has been very successful in attracting the city's high-end customers.



This branch at Cheongdam is one of the largest one from the group.



Apart from the charming café in the middle, they also have a huge area reserved for their cupcakes, pastries, gourmet bread and gelato.



Of course, I wasted no time checking out some of their pastries which consisted of a hybrid between European and American flavors.



But I was a bit pressed for time, so instead of sitting down to enjoy a cup of tea with a nice piece of cake, I had to take them on a ride home with me. 



The Royal milk tea and macadamian nut cake (₩7,500) was very disappointing. The mousse in the middle was very very bland.



But on the other hand, the pecan pie (₩6,000) was nice and moist.
