Krispy Kreme (Seoul, SOUTH KOREA) ★★★☆☆

For whatever reason I had a little trouble finding a Krispy Kreme branch in Seoul since they relocated their Myeongdong flagship store. Thankfully I finally ran into one in the basement level of Lotte Hotel just stone's throw from the Euljiro metro station.



Is Dunkin' Donuts winning the war of doughnuts here in Seoul? They are seen all over the place in the city.



Krispy Kreme does not have the New York pie donuts but they have another famous hybrid, this one between donut and muffin called kruffin.



There were four types of kruffins available here including the original kruffin, blueberry kruffin, banana walnut kruffin and double chocolate chip kruffin. 

I ended up having the original which was quite good. Also got myself a piece of the New York Cheesecake doughnut (lower right) which is one of my favorites.
