Just a short walk from Fushimi Station, Hilton Nagoya Hotel is located in the heart of the city's shopping, entertainment and business district. But that's hardly the reason why we picked the hotel in the first place.
It's the view from the skyscraper hotel that has really sealed the deal for us.
The modern Japanese interior was a nice touch too. I certainly didn't expect that from a hotel that was built in 1989 (Yeah, they aren't building Hilton's anymore).
The Japanese sliding window gave us a fairly wide city view.
The rest of the room came with more of a minimalist design.
But like everything else, there's always room for improvement. For Hilton Nagoya, it's the bathroom which could use a facelift right about now.
Despite being labeled as "the most boring city in Japan", Nagoya managed finding ways to impress us during our brief stay. We will definitely come back in a few years, hopefully by that time, the Michelin guys will have a guide covering Aichi prefecture.
