Crostini Bakery (Hong Kong, CHINA) ★★★☆☆

For the past year or so, Crostini Bakery and Cafe has been one of the fastest growing local bakery and cafe in the city. Since their launch late last year, they've already brought the total number of outlets to a dozen with Maritime Square in Tsing Yi as their most recent opening.



While their sliced cakes are not the best in Hong Kong, they do have some pretty enticing options with more than reasonable prices. Green tea mousse with lychee was light and airy. I like the mild green tea flavor. Not too overpowering, allowing it to work well with the lychee.



I do like my second piece slightly better - Chocolate mousse with orange. The chocolate flavor was rich and "devilish" and it was nicely complemented by the orange compote and what I thought was some orange zest in the middle. Pretty nice.
