Radisson Blu Hotel Berlin (Berlin, GERMANY)

There's a lot of quirky hotels in Berlin but none more "interesting" than the Radisson Blu Hotel on Karl-Liebknecht-Straße for its 25-meter-tall aquarium in the atrium lobby.

The aquarium stands high above the ground behind the bar area right in the heart of the lobby.

Unfortunately, apart from the aquarium, this hotel gave us very little to cheer about. Take this waiting area as an example, it looked a little dated and boring.

The rooms looked alright though. Well appointed and serviceable for a 2 to 3-day stay.

We had the luxury of a corner room that overlooks River Spree from our windows.

No major complaints about this hotel although I was expecting a little more from a Radisson Blu.
