Hotel Grand Bach Tokyo Ginza (Tokyo, JAPAN)

For years, we have been sticking with Shinjuku as our landing spot in Tokyo whenever we visited the Japanese capital. In 2019, we went with a different approach and opted to find our accommodation near Tokyo Station instead and we all loved it. Fast forward to our first trip back to Tokyo following the pandemic, should we go back to Tokyo Station one more time?

Well, negative. This year I had the luxury of starting our research early and was able to find some marvelous deals online. And this one at Hotel Grand Back Tokyo Ginza was way too good to turn down.



Located on the eastern (and quiet) side of trendy Ginza district, Hotel Grand Back Tokyo stands among other notable accommodations such as Millennium Mitsui Garden Hotel, Aloft Tokyo Ginza and AC Hotel Tokyo Ginza, all just a block from each other. The hotel was about an 8-minute walk to Ginza station and just a stone's throw to Higashi-ginza Station (東銀座駅).

One thing I love about their room was the amount of space available. It could easily accommodate two double-sized beds.

I love a room flooded with natural light and this was nearly perfect.

I must say, the photos I saw of Hotel Grand Back Tokyo Ginza online truly reflect the reality we experienced during our stay. Unlike many hotel booking websites where the images have often been touched up, the visuals of Hotel Grand Back Tokyo Ginza were an accurate representation of what we saw in person. That's always a huge plus!

The bathroom was reasonably sized.

The toilet, pretty standard for a 4-star Japanese hotel.

Our hotel offers a nice city view from the window and we could actually see AC Hotel Tokyo Ginza from across the street.

The vibrant Ginza district was such an amazing area to stay in. The wealth of luxurious department stores, upscale boutiques, and high-end restaurants (with some of these in Tokyo) created a truly indulgent experience and the energy and liveliness in the neighborhood added a dynamic touch to our stay, making it incredibly memorable and unforgettable.
