Downstairs Coffee at Mercedes Benz Connection (Osaka, JAPAN) ★★★☆☆

We were on our way to check out Kid-O-Kid in the same building. After a quick stop at the Mercedes Benz Connection show-room, everybody suddenly wanted a pit stop.



Turned out some of us spotted Downstairs Coffee, a little coffee shop at the corner of the showroom. Of course, I had no objection to some caffeine to keep myself awake.



Iced latte was a safe bet to get myself cool down and that's important considering it's almost 35 degrees out there today.



Coffee jelly and mascarpone verrine (580 yen) - I thought this would taste like a deconstructed version of tiramisu but I got it all wrong. Inside the plastic cup were just large chunks of bitter coffee jelly and mascarpone cream.
