La Patisserie Hotel Douce (Seoul, SOUTH KOREA) ★★★☆☆

Following our earlier adventure in Namsan, we took subway Line 3 all the way to Gangnam to check out Famille Street at the Express Bus Terminal. We took care of the first bit of business there by dropping by the Shinsegae Department Store food hall and paying La Patisserie Hôtel Douce ("Sweet Hotel" in French) a very quick visit.



Hôtel Douce at the Seorae Village was the one I usually visited whenever I came to Seoul but since we were at the Express Bus Terminal this afternoon, I thought it's high time to catch Hôtel Douce, Billy Angel Cakes and others all in one go!




There are two things Hôtel Douce does relatively well - eclair (₩5,000) and mille feuille. I went with their caramel eclair and it was pretty nice (even better if I let it properly defrost!).
