Pierre Hermé (Paris, FRANCE) ★★★★★

Down to our last day in Paris - I need to have my sweet tooth fixed at Pierre Hermé before I go. Not every one of the Pierre Hermé boutiques carries their pastries. No wonder there's a huge lineup at this rue Bonaparte branch right in front of us.

After some 30 minutes or so, we finally made it through the door.

The Infiniment Vanille Tart looks like a promising choice.

But we have found something even more delectable hiding inside that fridge - Miss Gla'Gla, Pierre Hermé's own ice-cream sandwiches.

We bought two Miss Gla'Gla - Montebello and Mogador and quickly ran off to a nearby square in front of the Saint-Sulpice Church where we found ourselves a bench.

Looks like we have found the VIP seats for Pierre Hermé customers here - see all the PH stickers on the bench!

Miss Gla'Gla Montebello is my personal favorite. Pistachio ice cream and strawberry sorbet combining very well with the pistachio macaron sandwich.

Miss Gla'Gla Mogador with milk chocolate ice cream, passion fruit sorbet and caramelized roasted pineapple is not bad but slightly too acidic.
