Dalloyau (Paris, FRANCE) ★★★☆☆

We had just enough time to squeeze in something sweet before dinner at Market and a Dalloyau boutique was right on our path. The timing couldn't get any better than that!



Let's see what they've got for us here.



Salad, sandwich, smoked salmon, foie gras terrine.....wait a minute, I smell pastries, tons of them!!!



There are quite a few pastries here which aren't available in Dalloyau Hong Kong and this Bubble pêche, coulis d'abricot (€6,20) was one of them.

Slices of yellow peaches, white peach cream, sponge cake and apricot cubes (a container with apricot juice provided separately) were all part of this creation that I didn't particularly like (4/10).



The Bonheur en chocolat (€7,00) was yet another one that the Hong Kong store does not carry. Unlike the previous Bubble pêche, coulis d'abricot, I enjoyed this one a lot more for its rich chocolate flavor and lovely texture (7/10).



The mille-feuille vanilla (€6,50) was really not a bad choice here although I could name at least a dozen places that made better mille-feuilles (6/10).
