marc münchen Hotel (Munich, GERMANY)

We were just spending less than 24 hours in Munich en route to Salzburg so our mission was simple - to find the perfect hotel that would allow us to get around the city in the most "efficient" manner. Marc münchen was nearly perfect in that regard. Just a short 5-minute walk from München Hauptbahnhof made the dragging of luggage a lot less painful.

The hotel is located at one of the side streets near the train station and it's relatively quiet both in broad day light as well as late at night. Check-in was quick and it didn't take long for the reception staff to issue the room keys. In around 5 minutes, we got our keys and off we go to our room for a quick shower before we head out to explore the city.

We were more than happy with the way the room was designed. Simple and well appointed. Not bad at all.

The bathroom wasn't the biggest one for a 4-star hotel but it's "functional" with everything we needed.

Both wifi and breakfast were included, which is always a good thing. I like the design of the breakfast hall, very modern with the tables generously spaced.

It's not the most comprehensive breakfast you would ever get but it's enough to get you going until lunch time.

It's very easy to get around Munich from marc münchen as the city centre is only 10 to 15-minute walk. Like most European cities, Munich is a walking city and there's no better way to discover Munich than by foot.
