Chicken 678 육칠팔 (Seoul, SOUTH KOREA) ★★☆☆☆

Like visiting a cafe in garosugil, visiting a fried chicken and beer (chimaek) place is a must in Seoul. There are so many good chimaek places around Seoul. Where should we start?

Just in case you don't want to make a special trip for one, 21 Myeongdong 7-gil right in the shopping area might exactly be what you're looking for.

There is a number of fried chicken restaurants on this street. At the end, the superman logo in front of Chicken 678 helped to make up our mind.

Owned by Kang Ho-dong, long-time MC and comedian, the "678" group has quite a few restaurants in Seoul, including BBQ house and fried chicken cafes (brand under chicken 678).

Before I had anything to say about their fried chicken and beer, I first wanted to express how disappointed I was with their service. Everybody was so busy running around but no one wanted to spare time to serve us.

The portions here were generally huge. One order could easily feed 2-3 people.

First up for us, the bulgogi garlic sauce chicken. Average and could have been a little more spicy.

Slightly better was the honey glazed chicken.
