PS Cafe at A.S.H. Park (Singapore, SINGAPORE) ★★☆☆☆

PS Cafe came highly recommended by a friend from Singapore and after checking our itinerary, we decided to check out their Ann Siang Hill location on our first night.

After an early dinner at the Chinatown Food Street, we simply could not afford to stuff any more food into our already over-capacity belly. With that in mind, we opted to just have dessert instead.

Ann Siang Hill is considered as Chinatown's hippest enclave with many quirky shops, cafes and pubs filling up the slopes of the hill. But after walking the stairs up to the PS Cafe, I was amazed with the location. What a quiet getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city!

Another thing I love about PS cafe at Ann Siang Hill was its "no kids" policy.

Since we were not having dinner here, we headed straight to the third floor where we found a combination of a casual dining room, a bar and an outdoor patio.

There are a lot of American style desserts available on the menu and the portions are huge!
We had their banana mango crumble with vanilla ice-cream (4/10).

I am a pecan pie freak so the Southern fudgy chocolate pecan pie was an easy choice for me (4.5/10).

Why am I not surprised to find a root beer float here!?

This was the perfect spot for friends to catch up and have a good time. It's probably less suitable for a romantic dinner.

All in all, we have enjoyed our time here although the service could have been a lot more attentive and friendly. In particular, our young server could look a bit less mechanical and uptight. An occasional smile would be even better and in the process, made our overall experience more enjoyable.
