Maison Berthillon (Paris, FRANCE) ★★★☆☆

People said if you just have time for a scoop of ice-cream in Paris, be sure you get it from Berthillon. The brand started back in 1928 as a restaurant but later changed its business strategy to concentrate on their ice-cream and café.

There are obviously a lot of stores selling the famous Berthillon ice-cream in the city but we decided to come to Maison Berthillon for the authentic experience. During the summer, a lineup was largely expected on any given day.



Surprisingly, there were fewer choices than I thought.



We had two scoops of ice-creams including a very good one in pistachio flavor.



But the milkshake was just average.



I thought it's a little overrated perhaps due to its long history.
